Flagler Station Over-Sea Railway HISTOREUM® Museum

Located at the corner of Caroline and Margaret Streets on the site of the old Margaret Street railway spur at the entrance to the Key West Historic Seaport. Flagler Station Over-Sea Railway HISTOREUM® Museum returns the guest to the day the train arrived connecting Key West, the largest city in Florida, to the rest of the United States for the first time in its history.

The Flagler Station will bring the history and legacy of Henry Flagler’s Florida East Coast Railroad Key West Extension. Learn the history of how this engineering marvel was built through film presentations and hear stories from a history teller about life as a worker on the Overseas Railway. You will be able to walk through an actual Florida East Coast Railroad car full of pictures and memorabilia from the “Railroad That Went To Sea.”
