2019 State of Mind

Another year around the sun and just like that, 2018 has come and gone. Last year, we shared 7 adventurous ways to achieve your New Year’s resolutions with a little help from the Key West Historic Seaport. Whether you wanted to focus on your health goals, travel, spend less, hangout with family more often, get into a new hobby, embrace adventures or just simply be happy, the Historic Seaport was your New Year’s resolution guide then and it can be your New Year’s resolution guide now.

You can count on the Historic Seaport to give you one-of-a-kind events and fun adventures to look forward to in 2019. In 2018, the KWHS hosted multiple contests where you had the opportunity to win tickets to see Taylor Swift during her Reputation Tour and Kevin Hart during his Irresponsible Tour. To kick off 2019, the Historic Seaport has your next chance to win tickets to see a musical legend.

We’ve sprinkled a few hints about who this next performer will be in November’s blog and in past newsletters. This performer is one of the most highly acclaimed and successful solo artists of all time and has achieved 38 gold and 31 platinum or multi-platinum albums, has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time. The performer has had over 4,000 performances in more than 80 countries and is the third most successful artist in US chart history only behind Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Any idea who this performer is?

Drum Roll Please……

Sir Elton John! You’ll have a chance to win two tickets to the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour to see Elton John perform at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL on March 16, 2019.

Make sure to follow the Historic Seaport on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to be one of the first ones to know when the contest becomes available to enter. There will be more contests throughout 2019 where you can win Historic Seaport sunglasses, a tote bag and other Seaport swag.

A Look Back on 2018’s Seaport Spotlights

From shop owners to captains of schooners to restaurant managers, the Historic Seaport is filled with interesting people and unique businesses. We like to feature not only the businesses at the Historic Seaport, but highlight the fantastic people who make the Seaport what it is today. We had some great conversations and learned so much from our 2018 Seaport Spotlights and we hope you enjoyed reading the tibets, quotes and fun facts they shared.
